104 People tested, None is Positive – CORVID-19

Early this morning Dr. Diana Atwine shared some information via her twitter handle(account) that instilled hope in Ugandans that we can combat this virus if we follow the right path and orders given to the public.

Over 104 people were tested and none of them came out positive. More additional guidelines on steps to be taken in order to prevent the spread of this virus are issued day after day.

In her statement;

What a great relief that of all 104 tested people today none is positive .I am sleeping soundly .May God give us sleep to compensate for all sleepless nights we have spent for 6 days

Among these new cases was a trader from Adjumani who frequented the border with South Sudan, a baby in Iganga whose father had recently returned from Kisumu Kenya and two Chinese nationals recently stopped in Zombo on their way to DR Congo.

Minus the new cases, the of the nine earlier recorded, eight are responding well to treatment. Their temperatures have come down. Only one case still has temperature fluctuations but our medical people are closely monitoring.
