Uganda Police Report on lock down incidents

Police Spokesman Enanga says during the period under review, a total of 48 incidents were registered throughout the country.

A total of 209 persons were arrested for violating the Presidential directives, murder, domestic violence and aggravated robbery among other offences.

During the week, 102 motorcycles and 19 motor vehicles were impounded for illegal transportation of passengers, movement without face masks and movement during curfew hours.

Update on patients of COVID-19 in institutional isolation/quarantine centres.
By 21st June 2020, the national prevalence rate of confirmed COVID-19 registered cases had risen to 770. However, a number of suspected victims are still under investigation at different institutional isolation and quarantine centres countrywide.

Kampala Metropolitan has 101 suspected cases of COVID-19, Elgon (144), Kigezi (82), Albertine (32), Rwizi (56), West Nile (162), Aswa (132), Ssezibwa (15), East Kyoga (68), Mt. Greater Masaka (60), Rwenzori West (17), North Kyoga (67) Busoga East (228), N/W Nile (332), Wamala (12) and Savannah (03).
