The world has finally got its first glimpse of Prince Harry and Meghan’s newborn son. On Monday morning at 5:26 a.m the first child of Prince Harry and Meghan was born. It is said that he is weighing 7lbs 3oz.
Meghan gave birth to him at Portland Hospital, a private hospital in London, according to a royal source.
The announcement came after the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh met their eighth and newest great-grandchild for the first time at Windsor Castle.
Meghan and Harry shared their chosen name on Instagram.
“This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle,” –
said in the official Instagram account for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex post.
They named their first child Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and it is believed that this name has little precedent within the modern British royal family.
Meghan said “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I mean I have the two best guys in the world. So I’m really happy,” as she smiled.
Meghan and Harry’s smiles were intense as they shared their baby with the rest of the world, as the Duke described him as their “very own bundle of joy”.
Now that we’ve met Baby Baby Archie Harrison, the world is only wishing good health and life for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son.
