Nansaasi Belinda was crowned the first Miss Curvy in an exciting event held on Friday night(9 pm – 2:30 am) at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala. She also won herself a Jeep Cherokee.
After the CatWalk test, the following contestants were kicked out;
- Aisha Namale,
- Joanitta Ayebare,
- Esther Among,
- Sumaya Nakazi,
- and Patience Ahumuza.
Being the first event of its kind, the attendance was a bit low, but the organizers may have walked away with ranking above the bar charts.
Remember this was part of a government campaign to attract tourists to the east African nation. So whatever comes next we shall you let you know, stay tuned.
