Today 12th/Jan/2021, with only one day to the voting day(14th/Jan/2021). Museveni held a national speech on most local media channels informing/explaining to the public about the heavily deployed military in town and other parts of the country.
When it reached on social media point, he said:
MUSEVENI: The other day, Facebook decided to block NRM message senders targeting them, why would they do that? I told our people to warn them that; If that social media channel is to be used in Uganda, it should be used equitably by all Ugandans.
Those channels did not respond and now I’m sure that they have been closed. I’m sorry to those that have been using it but we cannot tolerate that arrogance of anybody coming to decide for us who is good and who is not.
