CoronaVirus doesnot exist in Africa – says Pastor Yiga

In the clip making rounds on social media, Pastor Yiga  used his television station ABS TV even dared the government to arrest and imprison him, but vowed not to change his opinion about the non-existence of Coronavirus in not only Uganda but Africa at large.

Dr. Atwine came out on her twitter handle and tweeted a ones @PyeparFaisal screenshot tweet in which she wants the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and Uganda Police to take action on the Pastor and his ABS TV station which aired his programme rubbishing reports of the existence of COVID-19 pandemic in Africa.

If arrested, Pastor Yiga is likely to be charged under section 171 of the Ugandan Penal Code Act, Cap. 120 which states, “Any person who unlawfully or negligently does an act which is or which he or she knows or has a reason to believe to be likely to spread the infection of another disease dangerous to life commits and offence and is liable to imprisonment for seven years.”
