Another birth in Mubare Gorilla group – Visit Uganda

Let’s first start by giving a brief introduction to UWA, Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) is a semi-autonomous government agency that conserves and manages Uganda’s wildlife for the people of Uganda and the whole world.

It was established in 1996 after the merger of the Uganda National Parks and the Game Department, and the enactment of the Uganda Wildlife Statute, which became an Act in 2000.

Back to the good News, On 7th November the Uganda Wildlife Authority Was excited to announce another birth in the Mubare Gorilla group in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

They posted,

30 minutes ago, Karungi gave birth. Mother & baby are healthy. The sex of Karungi’s baby is not yet established. This is the second baby born in Mubare Uganda’s oldest Gorilla group within a period of 3 weeks.

That was really exciting, isn’t it.?
