After Bobi Wine had escaped the police siege at his home at about 4am and moved in an unknown car, which was waiting for him some distance away, and drove to Bugiri for the burial of the district’s former LC 5 chairperson Siraji Lyavala yesterday.
He used the previous two days under house arrest to compose a song called AFANDE(Police Officer), which show the men in the national uniform beating up fellow Ugandans.
In his YouTube video description Bobi Wine said;
Dear friends , I used the past two days under house arrest to compose a song which I now dedicate to our men in uniform. While we are very grateful for the sacrifices they make to keep us and our country safe, we implore them to stop being used to violate the rights of the citizens. Enjoy and Share.
